1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using naijarenter.ng, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Services

Naijarenter.ng is a property rental platform that connects landlords, agents, and property seekers across Nigeria. We provide listing services, search functionality, messaging tools, and other related services.

We do not own or manage any properties listed on our platform unless explicitly stated.

3. User Obligations

As a user, you agree to:
– Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and use
– Use the platform only for lawful and legitimate purposes
– Refrain from posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content
– Not impersonate any person or entity
– Not post or transmit any offensive, defamatory, or harmful content
– Be responsible for safeguarding your login credentials

4. Listings and Transactions

– Users (landlords or their representatives) are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their property listings.
– We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, quality, or condition of any listed property.
– Any transaction (e.g., payment, visitation, lease agreement) is solely between the property seeker and property owner or agent.
– We do not act as a property manager, agent, or legal party in any agreement formed between users.

**Commission:** For every successful transaction, a 5% commission will be charged to both the renter and landlord or the buyer and seller.

5. Payments and Fees

– Certain services (e.g., featured listings or promotions) may attract charges.
– All payments are final and non-refundable except where explicitly stated.
– Users are responsible for ensuring payment details provided are correct.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts, with or without notice, for:
– Breach of these terms
– Fraudulent or illegal activity
– Abuse or misuse of the platform
– Inactivity or failure to verify account ownership

7. Intellectual Property

– All content, software, logos, design, and trademarks on www.naijarenter.ng are owned by or licensed to us.
– Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute content without our prior written consent.
– You retain rights to content you upload but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote it on our platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
– Naijarenter.ng shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
– We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
– We are not liable for any disputes or damages resulting from user-to-user interactions.

9. Privacy

Your use of www.naijarenter.ng is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data and complying with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Refer to www.naijarenter.ng/privacy for our full privacy policy.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless www.naijarenter.ng, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

12. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably or through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.

When posting, landlords are made aware that naijarenter will be getting 5% of the transaction after the transaction is completed.

15. Others

 

Renters are also notified that they will be paying 5% for commission and agreement when an agreement is reached to rent a property.

All renters will pay an application fee of N5,000 when they choose to pursue a property for rent, lease, or purchase. This one-time application is valid for a period of 60days and all properties they choose to check out during that period.
